- When a garment is cut, an average of 20% of the material is lost and thrown away. For the production of the Odyssey T-shirt, these remnants are collected and recycled in order to convert them back into fabric. For environmental reasons, the new fabric is not dyed. This phase of the production process requires a lot of water and energy, which is why the fabric remnants are sorted by colour. This results in slight colour variations and irregularities in the finished product, which drastically reduces the environmental impact.
